I am unable to start the Altiris PXE Config Helper service. I was adding drivers to the PXE Boot Menu and when I clicked save it went on and on. It would not save. When I looked at the services the Altiris PXE Config Helper service was stopped. I restarted the service and got following message.

How can i delete a BackupSets there are Expired and have a Unknown Storage.
There is only one Storage in use and in the past was another Storage in use. But this Storage was deleted.

I've got Backup Exec 2014 SP2 (version 14.1) running on a Windows 2012 R2 server. One of the jobs is the back up to a LTO-5 tape library of some VMs, databases and a file server. It runs in the evening: incrementally from Monday to Thursday and a full back up every Friday.

I am running BE 2012 SP4 on MS Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1 64bit. The BE DB repository is using a local instance of SQL Server 2005 SP4. I am trying to upgrade to BE 15 and fail the BE Environment Checks for BE Version: "The latest Backup Exec service pack is not installed on this computer. Use LiveUpdate to install the service pack, and then run the installation again.

I'm getting the above error message when I try to add a new active directory server configuration. I've tried the hostname and IP. I've tried secure and insecure. Client firewall is off and there doesn't seem to be any issues with authentication elsewhere.

We have two StorageTek SL8500 running most of our tape backups, and they are located in two different facilities. The one facility is not optimal and we want to compare drive read/write errors between the two libraries to see if the poor facility is having an effect.
I have a IBMTS3310. I have 10 drives and up to say a week or two ago I have been able to use all 10 drives.
Server is windows 2008 R2 SP1
Master/Media is the same server
Netbackup 7.5.0.6

I have problem with any of my backup police. One of step I followed before with others netbackup soluction was reinstall the client from netbackup server, bu in this case the instalaltion progress show me back the error message "permission denied".
I tested the ssh conection between server and client and it is ok.

Very long story short....we upgraded the EV DB from SQL 2008 to 2012 on 20/05/2015.
We took a VM snapshot to cover us in case of any errors.
Whenever I install SEP.cloud on a new computer, I wait a few mintues and then click the Update Definitions link.

I have Symantec Endpoint Protection 12.1.671.4971 on a Windows7 computer.
After connecting a new external USB drive, SEP created this file:
System Volume Information\EfaData\SYMEFA.DB.
It can't be removed, and Symantec says such is _by design_ of Symantec.
Same problem, if I temporary disable SEP.
